Exhibition will take place at The Handbag Factory, ASC Gallery, in Vauxhall, London, between the 25th and 29th of September, 2025.
Artists active in printmaking or painting (can include mixed media) are invited to submit up to five artworks up to a framed size of 2 x 2m, to be considered by our judges for the No Place Art | Edition One: Materiality exhibition. Submissions should respond to the theme of Materiality.

A non-refundable submission fee of £24.00 for the first artwork (£10 per additional work).
For Artists 24 and Under a non-refundable submission fee of £16.00 for the first artwork (£10 per additional work).

When entering this call, the organisers request that you answer the following questions.
General Information
The exhibition will be held at The Handbag Factory, Vauxhall, London
Eligibility
Open to artists aged 18 or over - worldwide.
Artists may submit up to five works each. Up to five works per artist may be selected.
Works must align with the theme Materiality, completed within the last three years.
Acceptable mediums include printmaking (any of the printmaking techniques) and painting (paintings can include mixed media). There can be a blend of printmaking and paintings, combined with mixed media. Think of the theme: Materiality.
Artworks must be of original creation by the submitting artist.
Artworks should not exceed the size of 2m x 2m including the frame. Our judges reserve the right to decline/reject any artworks submitted exceeding our limit.
Submission Procedure
A non-refundable submission fee of £24.00 for the first artwork (£10 per additional work).
For Artists 24 and Under a non-refundable submission fee of £16.00 for the first artwork (£10 per additional work).
Maximum of 5 Artworks per submission.
Digital submissions must include high-resolution JPEG images (max 3MB) with filenames formatted as: NameSurname_TitleOfWork_Medium_Size_Date_Country.jpg.
Pricing
All works must be available for sale.
Once work has been submitted, any sale made by the gallery before or during the course of the exhibition up to and including the collection day (16th October, 2025) shall take precedence and supersede one made privately. Any private sale made in this period will incur the normal commission.
The price submitted should be the selling price, which should include commission, and is the price at which the work will be sold.
The price of works may only be changed by written agreement between the artist and No Place Art.
You will be notified by No Place Art if your work sells.
There is no minimum price per work.
No Place Art retains a 30% commission on all sales.
Artists are responsible for VAT registration where applicable.
Communications
All communication will be by email or via the online login process. Applicants will be required to login to see if they have been selected and will be asked to download and print their application details to be delivered with the artwork. Failure to do so could result in work being withdrawn from the exhibition.
Selection
The Judging Panel will select the works for the exhibition. The Judges will consider all correctly completed submissions. The decision of the Judges on all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Judges will not see the names of the artist during selection.
Insurance
Works are displayed at the artist’s risk. No Place Art is not liable for loss or damage. Artists are responsible for taking out insurance for their works. An artist contract will be provided to the selected artists and must be signed and received by No Place Art by the latest: 20th of August 2025.
Any artist contracts not received by the 20th of August may exclude the artist from the exhibition.
Artists are encouraged to arrange their own insurance.
Delivery and Collection
Selected works must be delivered to North London Framing, 26 Theydon Rd, London E5 9NA between 1st of August and the 10th of September 2025.
Artists are responsible for the delivery and collection of their works and for the costs incurred relating to transportation.
If you are unable to deliver or collect your work, you may send another person on your behalf – this may include an art courier.
Uncollected works cannot be stored after the collection time frame (16th November, 2025). If uncollected, the artworks may be disposed of.
No Place Art will not accept liability for the services of any art courier.
Artists must organise the collection of their work with North London Framers directly who offer shipping services.
North London Framers are open Monday to Thursday 9 till 6pm, except Wednesday when they close at 5pm.
To reduce the return shipping cost to the artist, it is possible to remove the frame and ship back the original artwork if desired.
For those shipping artworks from outside of the UK:
Picture Post Art arranges the shipping of work from the artist's country to the UK. Furthermore they aim to assist artists to correctly fill out paperwork from customs, and store packaging for reuse if required.

Agreement
By submitting to the exhibition you are deemed to accept and agree to the following:
The decision of the Judges on all matters Is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
I understand that The Organisers reserves the right to make such changes to the exhibition arrangements and these Terms & Conditions as may be deemed necessary by circumstances.
I authorise The Organisers To process, store, and utilise the data in my submission and agree that, if selected for exhibition, images of my work can be freely used by The Organisers, The Gallery and associated organisations for promotional and publicity purposes.
All information provided by me is true and accurate and that the work submitted is wholly of my own creation.
I have read and understood these terms and conditions and by submitting this application I accept and agree to observe all the Terms And Conditions therein.
